Casey Rock Moves Into MGA Advisory Role

After nearly three and a half years, Casey Rock, the Executive Content Director of the Mobile Growth Association (MGA) and the driving force behind Mobile Growth Summit events, is moving on — but he isn’t going far. Casey is taking his talents to Superpeer as its Head of Content Management, but we are excited to announce he will remain involved at MGA as part of the Advisory Board.

Casey began his role with us in February 2018 – when he attended MGS18 to get a feel for the organization before starting his role as the full-time Content Director. Over the years, Casey has become an integral part of the MGA family whose organization, attention to detail, and commitment to great content have helped make each Mobile Growth Summit a must-attend event.

As a critical member of the Management Team, Casey has been integral to MGA’s growth and expansion over the years. He is responsible for building and scaling the Speaker Program from the ground-up, and doubling the number of events we could produce in a year. The results of his efforts have enabled hundreds of Mobile App Thought Leaders to share their expertise at both online and offline events over the years. New and returning speakers alike have commented on how smooth, easy, and enjoyable the speakership process is at MGA.

Casey’s dedication and commitment to quality content were constant, no matter what challenges faced our events. When the pandemic hit, he made it possible for us to quickly pivot to virtual events and continue to operate while physical events were shut down across the globe.

In 2021, Casey was promoted to Executive Content Director where he continued to help MGA grow into new GEOs such as LATAM, APAC, and southeast Asia. In addition, he began to heavily focus on developing ways to support audience engagement during our events. The entire MGA team wishes Casey the best of luck in his new endeavors and is glad he will continue to be a part of the team that brings world-class events, networking opportunities, and continuing education to the mobile app community.
